Wacky Wednesday-Do the math

"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore." as quoted by Yogi Berra, American baseball player and manager...and you could always count on him to say something wacky!

Take a lesson from the rich

"A rich man is one who isn't afraid to ask the salesman to show him something cheaper" as quoted by ???Anonymous??? That's right, we don't know who said this. At least, I haven't been able to find out.

I did, however, read a recent study that talked about just this. The rich people shop for a bargain; those not so rich tend to spend money more liberally. I'm not sure about the logistics of this article or study; but I think it's interesting.

God and money

"If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to." as quoted by Dorothy Parker, American poet and critic.
Take it for what it's worth, I really like this quote.

Save a bit of dough...

Today is LL Cool J's 40th birthday so I thought I would give you all a quote from him:

"I try to do the right thing with money. Save a dollar here and there, clip some coupons. Buy ten gold chains instead of 20. Four summer homes instead of eight." as quoted by LL Cool J
